🛏️ Housing Details — Summer 2026

The Quick:

  • Single or double-occupancy room stays are available

  • Tickets are per bed, not per room, so that room shares will be two tickets

  • Suite-style housing (more comfortable and “adult” than traditional dorms)

  • Each suite section includes a spacious shared kitchen and living area

  • Approximately five guests per suite section, with private, locking bedrooms

  • Multiple modern bathrooms located on each floor

After purchasing your ticket, you’ll receive a Booking Form where you can:

  • Request roommates

  • Indicate accessibility needs

  • Coordinate party-based housing

Where will I be staying?

On-Site ticket holders stay in modern, suite-style housing at Bryn Athyn College, located across the street from Glencairn Museum.

How close is the housing to the castle?

Housing is approximately a 2-minute drive or 12-minute walk from Glencairn Museum. View this map for a view of the historic district. The housing is light green on the upper right, and the castle (Glencairn) is orange in the upper left.

Is this a dorm?

No. These are long-term suite-style residences, not traditional dorm rooms. Each suite includes a shared living area and kitchen, with private, locking bedrooms. Beds are single-sleeper twins.

Can I request a single room?

Yes. You may request either a private (single-occupancy) room or a shared (double-occupancy) room during checkout and confirm details in your Booking Form.

Can I room with friends or my RPG party?

Yes. Roommate requests are collected in the Booking Form after checkout. Groups of 4–6 players can typically be placed on the same floor when possible.

What if I am large-framed and have concerns about sleeping on a twin bed?

The best solution would be to choose a single room so we can push two twin beds together. Bring extra linens for the second bed. Or, book a commuter ticket and book a hotel or other off-site lodging.

Are bathrooms private?

Bathrooms are shared, with multiple modern bathrooms located on each floor. Doors lock for privacy.

What nights are included with housing?

On-Site tickets include three nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). A 2-night option (Friday & Saturday) is also available for guests arriving Friday morning.

Is bedding provided? Is there AC for summer? Are the kitchens stocked?

Bedding and linens are provided. Bring extra pillows if you like. There is central air AC. The kitchens, however, are not stocked but may be used.
